Dahab has great weather all year round. On average Dahab has sunshine 350 days of the year. Even in winter (December, January and February) the average daytime temperature in Dahab is between 17 - 21 Celsius making it a perfect place to escape from winter in Europe. In February as the hours of daylight increase it starts warming up again. It very rarely rains in Dahab, maybe twice or three times a year, so you can leave your umbrella at home!

Another feature of Dahab's weather is the wind, which makes for excellent Wind Surfing and Kite Surfing. There are usually between 20 - 25 days a month of good winds for these sports. In Summer the wind makes a refreshing change from the heat of the sun. In winter the wind can make it seem a little cooler. But there are many places to escape from the wind and still enjoy lots of winter sun.

The most important thing to remember with the wind in Dahab that is seems to go in a cycle with the moon. At full moon the wind gets usually strong, dropping usually to no wind at wanning moon to new moon.
